About

Since I can remember I have always had a passion for photography. So much so, I wanted to make it my first career in life. I was obsessed with everything that photography had to offer, and I wanted to learn as much as I could. So in 2002, I attended Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) with an emphasis in photojournalism. After graduating in 2004, I accepted a staff photographer position at the Daily Item in Sunbury, PA. While working for a small community newspaper, I quickly realized that some of the best images I made occurred while covering the local youth sports in the area.

I absolutely loved being able to capture all the action that our area had to offer, and also highlight some of the impressive young athletes in Central PA during my time at the newspaper.

After leaving the Daily Item in 2008, I began a different career path, and focused my efforts on my family. Now that I have 2 kids actively involved in various youth sports, I have since found my passion again for capturing these moments during competitive play. I also look forward to using my skills in photography to help make many great images for families to enjoy of their kids as they develop their athletic skills.
